Ben Parker believes that the Leeds United squad will be backing themselves to pick up all three points against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Whites are looking to avoid a third-straight defeat for the first-time since Marcelo Bielsa arrived at Elland Road three years ago.
The LUTV pundit admitted that Bielsa’s squad is full of belief and will be ready for any challenge that faces them in the Premier League.
Parker claimed that Leeds will need to be at the top of their game, with the Gunners arriving in West Yorkshire with world-class players.
“The current players again will back themselves too,” he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“This current team believes they can win every game of football they are going in to and you need that mindset because Arsenal have got world-class players.
“They have got world-class players all over the pitch and they did when we played them but the mindset you have got to have is one of backing yourself and believing yourself every game.”
Arsenal will be arriving at Elland Road with a whole-host of problems though.
Mikel Arteta will be without a number of his better players – with Sead Kolasinac and Mohamed Elneny ruled out through positive COVID-19 tests.
An even bigger blow for the Gunners is that marquee signing Thomas Partey will miss out, meaning their midfield will be significantly weaker.
The Whites, on the other hand, are welcoming back Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo, meaning they’re near full-strength and the confidence will be sky high – bring it on.
