‘Endlessly proud’ – Kalvin Phillips honoured by his part in major Leeds announcement
Kalvin Phillips has claimed he is “honoured” to have been painted into a Leeds United mural including Lucas Radebe and Albert Johanneson.
Not only was he included, but the Yorkshire Pirlo is the main event with his enlarged image in the middle of the mural.
It has been used to announce a new global partnership with Roc Nation, with the New York skyline also included to signify their American roots.
Phillips claimed he was “endlessly proud” to be part of the Leeds family, as he continues to be the face for everything positive coming out of West Yorkshire.
The midfielder shared a message on his personal Twitter account on Saturday evening, thanking everybody for their reaction.
“An honour to stand beside two Leeds United legends, Albert Johanneson and Lucas Radebe,” he wrote.
