Don Hutchison suggests Leeds United forward Raphinha could reach next level under Jurgen Klopp

Don Hutchison has suggested that Leeds United winger Raphinha could reach the “next level” under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Raphinha has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, but Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also thought to be interested in him [The Mirror].

However, the Brazilian only prefers a move to the Catalan giants, and he is not keen on a move to Liverpool, although anything can happen in the transfer window [Sport].

Hutchison, who works for ESPN, wrote on Twitter: “Liverpool fans would be gutted to lose Sadio Mane. There are always players out there. Mane, Salah, Jota, Firmino, Matip etc were good players when bought. Klopp has turned them into diff class players.

“No reason why he could not take Raphinha to next level.”

Liverpool are likely to offload Sadio Mane in the summer transfer window, and they are looking for a replacement.

Raphinha could be a brilliant replacement, and the Reds have the financial power to match Leeds’ asking price as well. Hutchison is spot on. Klopp has done wonders with players like Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino and other forwards.

He brought the best out of them and made them world-class players.

There’s no reason to doubt why Klopp cannot do the same with Raphinha.

The Brazilian is a fantastic dribbler who has got an eye for goal. He is a brilliant team player, who puts in a lot of defensive shifts. He is very good with his crossing and has the ability to conjure up moments of sublime brilliance.

Raphinha can play on both flanks but he is most effective playing on the right-hand side, where he can cut inside and have a go at the goal.

Leeds fans understand that Raphinha deserves to play at a top club, but a potential move to Barcelona looks difficult at the moment.

In other Leeds United news, Andrea Radrizzani has basically confirmed that the Whites are set to seal a new signing.
