Dharmesh Sheth shares Brenden Aaronson reaction to new Leeds United bid on Friday
Dharmesh Sheth has shared that RB Salzburg attacker Brenden Aaronson wants to move to Leeds United in January.
The Sky Sports journalist reported the news after the Whites lodged an improved offer on Friday morning.
Leeds are said to have upped their offer to £20million, with the American international ready to make the switch.
Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Transfer Show, Sheth shared the reaction from Austria as a new bid was placed today.
“Leeds United have made an increased bid of £20million for RB Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson,” he said.
“The player wants to move, but Salzburg don’t want to sell.”
Get it done.
It’s time for Aaronson to make his case at RB Salzburg.
The Austrian side are clearly playing hardball, but what would they say if one of their stars turned around and demanded the move?
Aaronson clearly wants to be at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa, and he is perfect for what will be asked of him in West Yorkshire.
The attacker is within the top 1% around the world in terms of distance covered, and that would be perfect for our style [Tom Bogert].
Leeds are dying for reinforcements in the final 10 days of the window, and this one is being lined up perfectly as things stand.
Aaronson wants it, the Whites want it, Salzburg are the final nail that needs hammering down before the deal is completed.
