Derby County team news emerges ahead of match v Leeds United
Daniel Farke’s Leeds United side have been given a boost as David Ozoh remains unavailable for Derby County on Saturday [7 December].
The Whites welcome the Rams to Elland Road on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways following a loss against Blackburn last weekend.
The Rams’ midfielder has been out of action since September with two consecutive injuries keeping him sidelined.
Although the visitors were hopeful he would be available for the trip to Elland Road, Paul Warne has confirmed he won’t be in the squad as he said in quotes reported by the Derby Telegraph (5 December): “No, David still isn’t in a position yet where we could risk him, so it’s just taking a little bit longer than we wished for, I think is probably the best way to put it, so David, will not be on the bus.”
Leeds United have to get three points against Derby County
As the Whites look to get back to winning ways, they have a strong chance to get back on track as they welcome the Rams to Elland Road.
Ozoh being unavailable for their opponents will be a boost for Farke given the visitors are also without Ebou Adams who is suspended.
Derby are also without a win in four and come into this game sat 15th in the table. Meanwhile, the Whites know that a win could see them return to the top of the standings if other results also go their way.
Before the loss against Blackburn, the West Yorkshire side had won three in a row and being on home turf in this one, it is a perfect opportunity to get a result.
Games between these two sides are always known for being passionate affairs meaning the crowd will no doubt be showing their support for Farke’s men too which the team can use to spur them on to three points.
