Spain legend David Villa has been blown away by Leeds United winger Jack Harrison this season in the Premier League.

The attacking duo were together at New York City FC during their time in the MLS alongside the likes of Frank Lampard and Patrick Vieira.

Marcelo Bielsa has the option to sign Harrison permanently from Manchester City in the summer, after three impressive seasons on loan at Elland Road.

Speaking to VYPR5 as shared on their official Instagram account on Friday, Villa believes that something "special" is going to happen when Harrison gets on the ball.

"When he has the ball at his feet, you get the sensation something special is going to happen," he said.

Special.

Harrison has been sensational this season in the Premier League and has improved every single year since arriving on his initial loan spell two years ago.

The 24-year-old has improved his goal involvements tally in each year so far and is on track to do that again despite the competition getting better.

Despite playing 1650 fewer minutes, Harrison has already scored the same number of goals this season compared to last and is only three assists behind.

Villa will have been with Harrison as he just began in the senior game, so to still be receiving this praise years later, shows just how much of a talent the winger is.

Harrison hasn't been at his best in recent weeks, but this international break will have given him the perfect chance to recover fully and finish the campaign firing on all cylinders.
