Former Leeds United midfielder David Norris has urged the club to complete attacker Jack Harrison's permanent signing this summer after impressing for the Whites.

Harrison has been at the club on loan in each of Marcelo Bielsa's last three seasons, and has been a consistent performer for the Argentine.

The Daily Mail have reported that Leeds will pay Manchester City £13m to sign the Englishman permanently this summer.

Leeds United

Discussing the possibility of signing him permanently, Norris told Football FanCast, "His attitude, his determination, his endeavour, he does both sides of the game, which is obviously a must with Bielsa, and a good pro.

“Only [heard] good, positive things about him. It’s a no-brainer if they can get that one done.”

Bargain for that much

Given how important Harrison has been for Bielsa, we're surprised Manchester City are willing to let go of him for so little.

He's a nailed-on starter unless we sign another winger, and even when we do, he's certainly going to get his minutes as the energy he brings to the table is second to none.

This past season he was one of our major attacking threats - scoring eight and providing as many assists. His speed and acceleration also gave us a different dimension in the final third.

Leeds United

He shared the attacking load with Patrick Bamford and we're expecting him to get better next season.

Harrison has already made over 125 appearances for the Whites during the three years he's been at the club and he's still got his best years ahead of him.

Hopefully, Bielsa stays here for the longer term and helps develop Harrison into a world-beater.

Given how he's helped him progress, there's no reason why he won't be a shoo-in for the England squad in a couple of years if he keeps progressing at the same rate he has since moving to Elland Road.
