Chris Sutton shares Leeds United promotion prediction live on BBC amid Daniel Farke ‘biggest issue’ claim
Leeds United will get promoted to the Premier League this season under Daniel Farke, according to BBC pundit Chris Sutton.
The prediction comes amid a claim from Sutton that Farke has a big “issue” in living up to the standards that former boss Marcelo Bielsa set.
The Whites currently sit third in the league table, with 22 points from their 12 matches so far, 11 points behind leaders Leicester City.

“In terms of Leeds fans wanting an attacking brand of football, he certainly ticks that box,” Sutton said on The Monday Night Club on BBC 5 Live Sport (23 October).
“I think he has had so much to deal with, there has been a big overturn of players, and of course I suppose his biggest issue is that all Leeds fans are wanting to find the next Bielsa.
“But I think he’ll get them up this season, I really do. Just because of his knowledge of the Championship, his nous, his know-how and the way he sets his teams up. So I think Leeds have done well to appoint him.”

Top manager
Farke has been there and done it all before in the Championship with Norwich, with Whites fans now desperate for the manager to get the West Yorkshire club promoted to the top flight at the first time of asking.
It will, of course, be a very difficult challenge, particularly given how much change took place at Elland Road over the summer following their relegation from the Premier League.
It was a miserable situation at the West Yorkshire club, and it was made worse with plenty of issues behind the scenes, with many senior players moving on, for example. But Farke has come in and steadied the ship, with the club now in a really good position both on and off the pitch.
There were understandable initial struggles in the opening stages of the season, but Leeds are now looking good with their attacking brand of football that has been instilled by Farke.
In other Leeds United news, an unusual clause not possible in one country has been used on one Whites loanee, with a permanent exit now on the cards.
