Chris Sutton makes Leeds United relegation prediction ahead of Premier League d-day clash v Tottenham Hotspur
Chris Sutton has admitted that he expects Leeds United to be relegated from the Premier League on Sunday as they prepare to face Tottenham.
Sam Allardyce’s side must win to have any chance of survival in the top flight, while hoping they better the results of both Leicester and Everton in the process.
And when responding to a tweet that had probability statistics on the likelihood of relegation, Sutton took to his personal account to admit he expects Everton to stay in the Premier League.
“On the basis of probability… Everton [will stay up] I’d say..” he wrote (23 May).
Miracle
Lets all be realistic and honest about the situation right now – we need a miracle to stay up.

As it stands Everton just need to match or better the results of Leeds or Leicester to stay in the division and they have a home game against Bournemouth who are already safe and have nothing to play for in their sights.
Leeds will need to win to have any chance of survival, and we haven’t won a single game in the Premier League for over two months since we beat Wolves back in March.
We’ve only won seven league games all season and while Tottenham have been pretty pathetic themselves in recent weeks, they still have plenty of quality in attack that will punish any mistakes we make.
With that said, we have to believe. The fans will be raucous and the players will surely be motivated to do everything they can to avoid the drop.
If we do our jobs then we have to hope for favours from elsewhere, but miracles have happened before, so why not again?
