Chris Kamara shares latest Marcelo Bielsa's situation at Leeds United
Chris Kamara has suggested that Marcelo Bielsa has left Leeds United following a run of poor results.
The Whites have lost four games in a row, and five in their last six, and their latest defeat has come against Tottenham Hotspur (4-0) on Saturday (26 February).
David Ornstein shared yesterday (26 February) that Bielsa’s position is under threat, and Kamara has added that the Argentine has left his position.
The former Leeds player wrote on Twitter: “Just been told Bielsa has gone. He will certainly be remembered.”
Well, it seems the confirmation is now a matter of time, although the club are yet to make any statement.
Fans adore Bielsa and he will be remembered at the club forever. His influence on the club and the city has been tremendous, and the Argentine will always hold a place in a fan’s heart.
From a sleeping giant, he made Leeds a force to reckon with again. He took them to the Premier League, inculcated a strong footballing philosophy, and did a remarkable job in the first season.
However, losing the spine of the team this season through injuries hasn’t helped while Bielsa also refused to back down from his philosophy which he felt was the only way Leeds can play.
He stands for dignity and moral virtue. He has never blamed anyone for the failures and has always spoken highly of the owners, the fans, the club, and the city.
The results have dried up, and it’s probably the right time for Leeds to move on as well.
In other Leeds United news, Gabby Agbonlahor was in a fierce debate with a Leeds fan on talkSPORT over Bielsa this week.
