Camp of Raphinha feel he is bigger than Leeds - David Anderson

The camp of Leeds United star Raphinha believes he is quickly becoming too big for the club this season.

David Anderson of the Mirror has shared the latest on his situation and shining form on the international and domestic stage.

It is suggested that Raphinha could majorly disrespect the Whites who are still one of the biggest clubs in the land.

Writing in his latest column or the Mirror, Anderson dropped the claim that could leave fans fuming at Eland Road.

“Raphinha’s form is certainly a double-edged sword for Leeds and while they would be in the bottom three without the points he has helped them earn, it encourages his camp in their belief that he is becoming too big for Leeds,” he wrote.

“Such a statement is disrespectful to Leeds and the Whites are one of the biggest clubs in the land with a world-class coach in Marcelo Bielsa, a great history and a passionate fanbase.”

No chance.

The likes of his agent, Deco may believe that, but there is no chance that Raphinha will be drawn into that nonsense.

The Brazilian star has made it very clear that he has fallen in love with everything to do with the club, especially the fans at Elland Road.

We do have to admit that it would be no surprise to see him look for a move sooner rather than later though.

Rennes had Champions League football secured before Raphinha decided to give that up for the Premier League, and he will expect progress towards that next step very soon.

Based on this season, the Whites are maybe two or three years away from that and something will need to change soon.

There is no chance of Raphinha disrespecting the club, though.
