BBC pundit issues apology to Leeds United fans as he makes relegation admissions

Don Hutchison believes that there’s a good chance that Leeds United do not pick up a single point from their next four games.

The Whites suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Manchester City and face Arsenal and Chelsea in their next two games.

Following that they’re facing form teams in Brighton and Brentford and Hutchison fears for their survival chances.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, the BBC pundit said, “Sorry Leeds fans. From what I’ve seen of Leeds recently at Elland Road, there’s a scenario where they don’t even take a single point from their next four games.

“It’s really not looking good for them and I think they’re going down.”

Everton bias

Hutchison is a former Everton player so his bias is apparent here.

Saying that Leeds will not get a single point from the next four games is baffling.

They’ve got results off teams higher than Brentford and Brighton in the league so why will they not get something from them?

Of the four teams they’re facing, three of them are not even playing for anything this season.

The only exception are Arsenal who are competing with their rivals Tottenham Hotspur for a top-four berth.

The odds are stacked against Leeds but staying up is still very much a realistic possibility.

This squad is good enough to survive and investment is desperately needed next season if they are to establish themselves as regulars in the Premier League.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
