Atletico Madrid enter race to sign Leeds United linked Boubacar Kamara
Atletico Madrid made an attempt to sign Marseille midfielder and Leeds United target Boubacar Kamara in the January window.
According to The Telegraph, Premier League clubs are set to face intense competition to sign the 22-year-old in the summer.
Kamara, who is set to be a free agent once his contract expires in June, has a host of teams vying for his services.

It’s no secret that Leeds are looking for a central midfielder in the summer, having been in the market for one for ages.
In the summer of 2020, they appeared to be closing in on the likes of Rodrigo de Paul and Michael Cuisance, but none one of those deals were completed.
Even at the start of this season, the likes of John Swift and Lewis O’Brien were linked.
Leeds have made it a pattern of missing out on their primary midfield targets and they cannot afford to make the same mistake with Kamara.

According to the scouting website Total Football Analysis, Kamara is a “magnificent” midfielder who’s ready to make the move to the Premier League.
Everything suggests that he would be a perfect fit for this Leeds midfield and he could slot in alongside Kalvin Phillips and Adam Forshaw.
It remains to be seen if Leeds can manage to convince him to join over some of the other clubs as he’s expected to be hot property once the transfer window opens.
