Aston Villa know terms to sign Leeds United ace Kalvin Phillips
Aston Villa are reportedly aware of the terms that will help them sign Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips this summer.
According to Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, Steven Gerrard’s men are keen on signing the 26-year-old midfielder.
He claims that they are waiting on whether or not he signs a new deal at Elland Road to make a move for him.

Jones told Give Me Sport, “They don’t know if he’s going to sign a new contract or not, so that’s what they’re waiting on, and then I think it’ll be a knock on effect with whether they actually push on with Bissouma.
“They know the terms that are needed already.”
Dicey
If Villa indeed know the terms then there has been some positive correspondence for them from Leeds’ end.
If the Whites were reluctant to sell him at all, then they would’ve told the club owned by billionaires Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris that Phillips is not for sale.
However, from what Jones is saying, they have mentioned a price for the England international.

If Villa know the terms, it’s clear that even Phillips knows where the club value him.
The deal remains on the table for him to sign and it remains to be seen if he actually puts pen to paper on it.
He is a boyhood Leeds fan and has been at the club all his life so a move to Villa – a club that does not even play in Europe, let alone the Champions League – may not be the best fit for him.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
