Angus Kinnear spotted laughing as Orta loses cool with Leeds fan v Brentford
Leeds United director of football Victor Orta had to be held back after losing his temper after Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Brentford at Elland Road.
The Spaniard was seen furiously ranting and pointing further along the stand while in the director’s box at full-time today (5 December), and after Angus Kinnear had to prevent him from moving towards the fan that might have left him upset, the Whites chief executive was spotted laughing by Sky Sports cameras.
What made Orta lose his cool is yet to be known, but the fan who angered him can consider himself lucky as the Leeds chief was ready to make his feelings clear in a face-to-face confrontation.
Kinnear did not seem surprised by any of it, though, and he saw something funny in all of it as shown on Sky Sports Twitter account.
Passionate Orta
The Spaniard is quite the character, and it will be interesting to really know what angered him.
Leeds had to come back to snatch a late 95-minute leveller by Patrick Bamford, ensuring they shared the spoils with the visitors.
The hosts appeared to be heading for another defeat prior to the striker’s equaliser, and someone close to him might have directed some ugly words at him while Marcelo Bielsa’s side were 2-1 down.
Leeds fans have been patient with the Argentine and his players this term, but most are not pleased with the low volume of the businesses done during the summer.

Injuries have not helped the Yorkshire outfit so far, and both Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips pulled out injured during the clash against the Bees.
The squad could do with some quality depth during the second half of the campaign, but it remains to be seen whether Orta and Bielsa plan to bring in new faces next month.
Picking up four points from their last two games has seen them steer clear of the relegation zone, and they now need to get more points when they face Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in their next four games.
In other Leeds United news, a major update on Whites January bid to sign attacker has been provided, with pen-to-paper imminent.
