Andrea Radrizzani opens up on ‘bitter’ Leeds United exit
Former Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has opened up on his bitter exit from Elland Road, sharing his view that he made mistakes with the club.
Radrizzani also claimed the spell as Leeds owner, as well as his exit, was an important step for his personal growth ahead of taking over at Italian side Sampdoria.
Leaving after the club were relegated to the Championship led to plenty of stick and hard feelings towards the owner, who now says he hopes to learn from his previous errors.

The former Leeds owner was speaking to Italian new outlet Tuttomercato on 21 November when he shared: “It ended with a bit of bitterness, but it was very important for my professional growth.
“I did many good things but also many mistakes, I hope to learn from those.”
More than a few mistakes
Before Radrizzani left Elland Road, fans had been calling for his head for a long time. The meltdown at the end of their Premier League spell which saw Javi Gracia hired, then sacked as well as director of football Victor Orta, then replaced by Sam Allardyce, summed up the chaos of his ownership.
It was a sign of pure panic in the rapid decline Leeds had faced in the Premier League, with a drastic change of style and direction the ultimate cause of their demise, and there was nobody to blame for that other than the man at the top.
His new comments about having learned from the experience are all well and good for his new club, but it’s Leeds who suffered from his incompetence, and while he owns up to his mistakes, he is far from forgiven.

Already since his departure, 49ers Enterprises have instilled a clear plan and direction at Elland Road, they know what needs to be done and are willing to do it for the best interest of the club, and it feels like things are finally back on track.
In other Leeds United news, a deadline has emerged for a multi-million deal.
