Andrea Radrizzani has doubled down on his admission and continues to claim that Leeds United made the right call to sack Marcelo Bielsa.

The highly popular Argentine was then replaced by Jesse Marsch and he barely kept the Whites in the Premier League before getting sacked himself.

The club decided to get Javi Gracia in to replace him and Radrizzani has now spoken about how demanding the players felt Bielsa had become.

Diario La Nacion journalist Claudio Mauri carried his quotes on Twitter, "Radrizzani, president of Leeds United: 'The fans continue to blame Bielsa's dismissal in my face. It was a very difficult decision, but it was the right thing to do. Psychologically and physically, the team was no longer capable of following him and he is one of those who Ask a lot'."

Bad call

Given where Leeds are now, what they need is a demanding manager and Bielsa had enough credit in the bank to prove he could get it right.

However, in his second season in the Premier League, the only signing he got to strengthen his first team was Junior Firpo and they somehow managed to pay over the odds to get Dan James on transfer deadline day.

None of them quite worked and when he asked for midfielders in January, the board declined to give him the players he wanted.

On the other hand, Leeds broke their transfer record this January under Marsch and then sacked him few days after the window shut without the most expensive player in their history even getting a Premier League start.

Decisions like these are what could cost Leeds their Premier League status and fans certainly will not be surprised as they've seen their board being incompetent over the past few years.
