Andrea Radrizzani breaks silence to send six-word message after Leeds United win v Wolves

Andrea Radrizzani has replied to Luke Ayling’s tweet as Leeds United beat Wolves 4-2 in the Premier League on Saturday, 18 March.

Ahead of the match, Ayling shared his comments on a recent interview he did with Sky Sports.

Little over half an hour after full-time, the Leeds owner labelled him a role model for him being an inspiration for the next generation.

Via Twitter, he wrote, “Well done captain. A true model.”

Convenient?

Radrizzani has been quiet after being so vocal during Leeds’ botched managerial search.

He promised white smoke soon to the fans, but none of that happened and he perhaps realised that he should’ve been quiet.

However, when the team’s been dropping points, there was no word from him and now that they won, he suddenly thinks of logging in.

There’s no word of thanks to the manager and players for the win against Wolves, which is surprising as it’s the least he could’ve done.

Regardless, the Whites will be delighted to pick up three points away from home as their record on the road is not ideal.

They will go into the international break in 14th place and that’s remarkable given that they were second from bottom at the start of the weekend.

In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
