Alan Curbishley makes huge Raphinha comparison
Alan Curbishley has compared Leeds United attacker Raphinha to Liverpool forward and Ballon d’Or nominee Mo Salah.
The Brazilian was once again among the pick of the action against Norwich on Sunday afternoon and also grabbed a goal in Leeds’ 2-1 victory.
After the game, Sky Sports pundit and former West Ham boss Curbishley, delivered his verdict on the 24-year-old.

Discussing his goal in the post-match show for Premier League Productions, he said, “That’s Salah like. When will defenders start showing players on their weaker foot. But take nothing away from the finish from Raphinha there.”
Salah-esque
The Egyptian is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world today and to receive such high comparisons would be flattering for Raphinha.
That’s not to say that he doesn’t deserve it because, since his move to Elland Road last summer, he has hit the ground running.
Players coming from foreign leagues usually tend to take time to adapt to the Premier League.

Another concern would’ve been whether or not he had the physical endurance of playing Marcelo Bielsa’s style of football.
However, he managed to address those critics within a few months and has only gotten better since his first season at the club.
Leeds will be hoping that he stays on at Elland Road, but given his progress, it’s hard to see why clubs like Liverpool or Chelsea will not be keen on signing him.
