£53m duo on their way to Elland Road – Three players Leeds United could sign this summer
Despite Leeds United being engulfed in a Premier League relegation battle at present, Victor Orta will have one eye firmly fixed on the summer transfer window.
Of course, the board will be working on two eventualities, with relegation to the Championship a genuine possibility due to the close-knit nature of the bottom half of the table.
We all know Orta likes to get the wheels in motion early; Brenden Aaronson’s summer transfer was a testament to this, as was Max Wober’s winter move. So it would not be a surprise if the sporting director was already in contact with a number of prospective targets.

Here MOT Leeds News takes a look at three transfers which could materialise when the summer trading period opens in June if they retain their Premier League status.
Noah Okafor
RB Salzburg striker Noah Okafor is a name which hasn’t gone away. Calciomercato claimed (7 September) the Whites were hot on the trail of the Switzerland international and recent talk of a summer move has now emerged.
Mo Ibrahim, who is part of Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s staff, suggested (Twitter, 22 March) Leeds have held talks over a potential move after completing extensive scouting of Okafor.

The forward is believed to be valued at £26.6million. One to keep an eye on, particularly if Patrick Bamford or Rodrigo are linked with a move away from Elland Road (Calcio Mercato, 2 November).
Noa Lang
Dutch winger Noal Lang is a player who has been continuously linked with a move away from Club Brugge. Belgium news outlet Voetbalkrant suggest Leeds are still pushing for the 23-year-old, with £26.5million likely to be the asking price.

With Jack Harrison yet to commit to a new deal, there’s a chance Leeds could require a new winger and it’s clear Lang has admirers at Elland Road.
Ilias Akhomach
Ilias Akhomach’s move to Leeds looks more like a case of when and not if. LUFCFANZONE claimed (16 March) the Whites are “very confident” of agreeing on a four-year deal with the Spanish winger when he becomes a free agent in the summer.

Spanish news outlet Sport also suggest (17 March) “everything indicates” the 18-year-old is on his way to Elland Road, with his contract set to expire in the summer. Another exciting addition to Leeds’ impressive pool of younger players.
In other Leeds United news, one player’s exit could depend on Javi Gracia remaining the man in the dugout at Elland Road.
