28-goal forward linked with Leeds move posts teasing Instagram story

One of the most exciting transfer rumours that has surrounded Leeds United in recent years, includes Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland.

A recent story from Bleacher Report claimed that the “most likely” landing spot for the 28-goal talisman is Elland Road should the Whites earn promotion this season.

Now, in the same report, it suggests that Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea are all taking a similar interest in the Norwegian.

Haaland himself has not made it a secret that he is a Leeds fan before, and this week saw him share another snapshot which could show his love for the club.

The Leeds-born forward posted a string of photos on to his Instagram story on Tuesday, signing a number of football shirts.

One of those that would have caught the eye of the eager Whites fan base was a Leeds shirt from back in the Premier League days.

That would have been one of the shirts that Haaland’s dad, Alf-Inge, would have worn during his time at Elland Road between 1997 and 2000.

It may be a teasing story, but it has to be said that the forward also posted pictures of him signing shirts from the likes of Napoli and Manchester United.

Haaland coming to West Yorkshire at this stage should be classed as unlikely, but with promotion to the Premier League, who knows what could happen?
