Dave is a huge Leeds fan and ardent disciple of Bielsa ball. A career in print magazines that included editing PC Zone, launching PokerPlayer and redesigning The Big Issue has finally led Dave to writing about the love of his life, Leeds United. It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Jim White has said he is excited at the prospect of being able to watch every single Championship and Premier League game for the rest of the season.

In fact, the talkSPORT broadcaster went further and said that "times are changing" and that he would be happy for this to continue into next season as well.

Talking on the White & Sawyer Show (talkSPORT, Thursday, 10.30am), he said, "What we're hearing is that the broadcasters are going to show three or four Premier League and Championship games every day with different kick-off times until the end of July.

"It begs the question, would you be sad to see the traditional Saturday 3pm kick-offs disappear altogether?

"That’s what we’re hearing that the broadcasters are looking to do at the moment, to show all 92 remaining Premier League games and 108 Championship games.

"They’ll all have so many time slots on different days. It will be a feast of football.

"I’m wide open to it. I don’t care about 3pm kick-offs, times are changing.

"To watch three or four Premier League and Championship games every day with different kick-off times... that’s exciting. I’d take that going forward too."

We're with White on this. Even without the Coronavirus, times are changing.

The idea of a traditional 3pm Saturdaykick-off has been eroded for the past few years anyway and Amazon showed what is possible when it streamed entire blocks of fixtures giving fans the chance to choose what they want.

If you're a die-hard fan it won't stop you going to stadiums to watch your club live.

Elland Road will still sell out every week. But the Leeds fans who can't get into the ground will be able to watch the games too.

As for this season, the opportunity to stream every single one of the remaining nine games of a historic season for Leeds United is exciting.

It's also some consolation for fans who are being denied the opportunity of getting to see the promotion bid in person.

It might not be the same as the limbs at Elland Road but these are unprecedented times and streaming will do for us.

At the moment we'd kill just to watch a training game from Thorp Arch.
