'Unbelievable', 'Brilliant' - Many Leeds fans react as Raphinha scores first goal with U23s

There was a treat for Leeds United fans on Sunday afternoon as the Under-23s welcomed Norwich City to Thorp Arch.

Mark Jackson had a number of senior players available to him, with nine days to go until the Premier League clash against Leicester City.

Kiko Casilla, Pascal Struijk, Raphinha, Pablo Hernandez, Ian Poveda and Tyler Roberts were all handed starts against the young Canaries.

It was a lightning-quick start for the Whites, who took the lead inside five minutes after Poveda finished off a move including Hernandez and Roberts.

Jackson will have been delighted with his side, who came into this one on the back of an undeserved 3-2 defeat at Reading in the Premier League 2.

New signing Raphinha certainly caught the eye playing in that central playmaker role ahead of Hernandez, and he got his first goal for the club in the first half.
