Stan Collymore predicts Leeds United clash v Manchester United
Stan Collymore predicts Leeds United to get their Premier League season off to a good start by drawing at Manchester United on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa and his men travel to Old Trafford this weekend with the hope they can pick up where they left off in the Premier League last season and continue impressing in England’s top-flight.
And ex-Liverpool striker Collymore feels they can get a strong result against Man United as via his personal Twitter account, he’s predicted a 2-2 draw between the two rivals.
We’ll take that
After losing 6-2 at Old Trafford last season, we will definitely be happy with a point this time around.
Leeds finished ninth in the Premier League last term in what was a really impressive return to the top-flight.
Bielsa’s men grabbed some seriously impressive results and managed to beat the eventual champions Manchester City on their own patch at the Etihad.
If they can get a result at Man United, that’ll be really great start to what will hopefully be another memorable season with Bielsa at the helm.
Of course, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s made some good signings for the Red Devils this summer but Leeds’ squad has improved too.
Each player has a season of Premier League experience under their belt now and are even more in tune with Bielsa’s system and his high fitness demands.
We won’t be fearful of United but we will need to give them respect and not make things too easy for them.
We’re expecting a good game and Collymore’s prediction of a 2-2 draw will be very welcome if that’s how the game unfolds.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have agreed personal terms to make another new signing with a medical now due.
