Spotted: Marcelo Bielsa translator Andres Clavijo caught on camera at Selhurst Park in Leeds United draw
Marcelo Bielsa’s former translator Andres Clavijo was spotted at Selhurst Park on Monday night as Leeds United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace.
However, it seems as though he’s still keen on following the Whites as he was seen at Selhurst Park on Monday.
Clavijo was also caught on camera on the train home from South London.
Loves the Leeds
Clavijo may not have any professional ties to Leeds anymore but it’s fair to say that he still loves the club.
He’s pictured with his mobile phone in his hand in that first image so maybe he’s doing a spot of spying for Bielsa and keeping his old boss up to date on what’s happening with Jesse Marsch’s men.
Or he’s just browsing Twitter to see Leeds fans ripping Marsch apart for not playing as entertaining football as the ex-United boss.
Still, we’ll always love Bielsa and we’ll also be fond of Clavijo too.
He was Bielsa’s right-hand man, assisting him in all his press conferences and media appearances in the Premier League while also doing analytical duties behind the scenes at Thorp Arch.
Clavijo was an important part of Bielsa’s team and it was a shame to see him go along with the Argentine.
However, it’s understandable as that’s usually the case when a manager gets sacked.
Bielsa is most likely still watching Leeds United.
We can picture him in Argentine with a cup of coffee, sat in his garden with the Whites versus Palace on his television or on the radio.
In other Leeds United news, there’s no doubt the Whites will sign this player in the summer.
