'Massive' – Sky Sports pundit names team he thinks will win Championship, Leeds or West Brom
Popular Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara thinks that Leeds United will have the edge over West Brom in the race for the title.
Both teams are well clear of third-placed Fulham and Kamara thinks that West Brom and Leeds will hold them off to get promoted automatically.
And Kamara thinks the enforced break will be a “massive” benefit for Leeds in the race for the title.
Talking in the Express & Star Kamara said, “I think it became pretty evident early on that Albion and Leeds are the best two teams in the Championship. Consistently those two teams have been the best.
“I have been really impressed with Albion and I fully expect them to go on and finish the job they have started.
“I think, when it comes to the title, Leeds may benefit more from the break we have had.

“If you look at them towards the end of last season – they ran out of puff a little bit. They weren’t firing at the end of the season like they were at the start of it. This break could be a massive benefit to them whereas I’m not sure how it will affect Albion.”
Title a nice bonus but…
If we’re honest, we’re actually not that fussed about the title. Promotion is the be-all and end-all.
However, that would all change if Leeds went on to secure promotion to the top flight mathematically.
Then we’d focus on the title and would hope Leeds can go on and win their first trophy under Marcelo Bielsa.
A lot has been said about Leeds running out of steam last season but we don’t really buy into that theory.
However, what is true is that Leeds have started both seasons under Bielsa like a rocket.
We think they’re going to be the fittest side in the division when games kick off again and if Leeds do get off to another fast start, promotion will be all but secured.
Leeds are on a run of five wins without conceding. If we can carry that incredible record on for another two games, against Cardiff and Fulham – probably the toughest tests we’ve got left this season – we’ll be all but up.
Then we can focus on the trophy.
