‘Shocking’, ‘Absolute fraud’: These Leeds fans savage ‘horrendous’ player who ‘lost it’ v Forest
We’ve spent the last few weeks asking our columnist Paul Robinson whether Kiko Casilla should be dropped from the Leeds United side for Illan Meslier.
So far the answer has come back the same – Marcelo Bielsa needs to stick with him despite his poor form.
We’re not sure how long it can go on for.
Casilla made another massive blunder in the first half of the game against Nottingham Forest and it cost us the opening goal in a 2-0 defeat.
Sammy Ameobi scored it on Casilla’s near post and it was a goal that a keeper of his standard should never have conceded.
He almost gifted the home side another goal before half time, throwing the ball straight to a Forest player, who thankfully decided not to shoot.
The rest of the Leeds team looked pretty dreadful today as well but the problem is, when your keeper keeps making mistakes, you’ll keep conceding goals and dropping points.
Casilla made a mistake for the goal in the 1-0 defeat against Wigan last week. He’s done it again today.
A lot of Leeds fans have seen enough and want Casilla out of the side for the Brentford game. It would be a huge call from Bielsa but this simply can’t keep happening.
