Predicted Leeds starting XI v Southampton

The final games of the season come in a flurry now, with Leeds United set to play Southampton on Tuesday with some fans in attendance.

The penultimate games of the season are the first to have fans back and it might give the South coast club an advantage.

However, Leeds are on a charge to disprove the ‘burnout’ theory once and for all.

We’re looking for a third consecutive win after dispatching Spurs and demolishing Burnley.

And Marcelo Bielsa has no selection problems – except for what to do with Rodrigo.

He came on and scored two goals in what was his best display for Leeds so far and we think he has to start on Tuesday.

The player to miss out will be Mateusz Klich. That’s tough on the £20k-a-week man as he scored a quite brilliant goal on Saturday to give Leeds the lead late on in the first half.

However, Rodrigo is fit and is one of the best players in the side when he’s on form.

Rodrigo would be in the strongest possible Leeds side and Bielsa will want to cement a top-half finish.

We think the rest of the side will stay the same, with Liam Cooper on the bench again.

Pascal Struijk and Diego Llorente have looked brilliant at the back and the skipper is going to have his work cut out to get back in the side.

This is the starting XI we think Bielsa will put out on Tuesday night.
