Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez made his triumphant return at Elland Road last night and notched two assists in just eight minutes of action.
It was the first time he’d played for the first team since his bad reaction to getting subbed off in the game against Leicester.
Hernandez apologised on his Instagram account after being dropped by Marcelo Bielsa but since then has kept tight-lipped.
The only communications have come from his partner Mar Garcia, who worried Leeds fans when she said Hernandez was “Superhealthy” despite not making the squad against Chelsea.
Garcia tweeted again after the game last night and it was a happier message to Leeds fans.
She said, “We cannot thank you enough for the immense support you have given us the past days/weeks. Thank you Leeds Family. What a night! What a TEAM!”

Happy for Hernandez
We were absolutely delighted to see Hernandez back last night.
He’s struggled to make a contribution this season and there was plenty of talk about the bust-up with Bielsa behind the scenes.
Bielsa confirmed that he’d dropped Hernandez after he ripped his black armband off when he was subbed.
Hernandez then picked up an injury in the international break but plenty of Leeds fans read more into that and Pablo obviously wasn’t happy at being kept out of the squad.
Thankfully, it now looks like it’s all water under the bridge.
Hernandez might have a battle to get his starting place back with Rodrigo in good form, but he showed what sort of impact he can make for Leeds off the bench.
That’s probably where he’ll start on Sunday at Old Trafford but we wouldn’t bet against him coming on and scoring the winner.
