It’s a huge game for Leeds United on Sunday when they finally get to renew their rivalry with Man United at Old Trafford.

This is the game that Leeds fans want to win more than any other but they’re not happy at the referee for the game.

The Premier League announced that Anthony Taylor would be the man in charge of the explosive fixture and Leeds fans are fearing the worst.

Taylor was the man in charge of the game against Sheffield Wednesday back in 2016 when he first gave and then disallowed a Liam Cooper goal when Fernando Forestieri was leaving the pitch slowly after being subbed.

Then-Leeds manager Steve Evans said Taylor was only fit for the Under-9s league. Instead, he’s at the very top of the Premier League.

Taylor also reffed the FA Cup game between Leeds and Arsenal back in January when he allowed Granit Xhaka to have pretty much free reign in fouling the Leeds players.

His reward for that was the ref’s job in the 0-0 draw against Arsenal earlier this season.

Oh, and he sent off Gaetano Berardi in the play-off semi-final against Derby.

The full list of officials for the game at Old Trafford is:

Referee: Anthony Taylor.
Assistants: Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn.
Fourth official: Chris Kavanagh.
VAR: Kevin Friend.
Assistant VAR: Simon Beck.

Leeds fans are doubly angry about Kevin Friend being on VAR too, after he let Kurt Zouma’s goal stand in the recent game v Chelsea.

They see it as a double whammy from the Premier League, with one fan saying they’re not even trying to hide their “bias”.

This is what the Leeds fans make of Taylor’s appointment…
