MOT View: Player gets 1st PL start, 21yo out – Predicted Leeds starting XI after early team news
Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that he had no new injury issues in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
However, Liam Cooper was missing from the official training video put out on Thursday and made a late appearance wearing a coat.
If he’s out then Diego Llorente will make his debut but there’s been no official confirmation yet.
We do know there is going to be at least one change from the 1-0 win against Sheffield United.
Jack Harrison is on loan from Man City and can’t play against his parent club.
Bielsa all but confirmed that it would be Gjanni Alioski who would take his place. Bielsa talked up Alioski in his press conference saying he could do “as well or better” than Harrison.

It will be Alioski’s first start in the Premier League.
We also think that Tyler Roberts, 21, will be dropped after a poor first-half against the Blades. Rodrigo is the player we think will come in to take his place.
Rodrigo might prefer to play further forward but Patrick Bamford is on fire at the moment and looking to score in his first four Premier League games.
Man City will be a tough test but they conceded five against Leicester on Monday and have real problems in defence.
Leeds shored things up against Sheffield United but conceded seven in their first two games. This one could be a high scorer.
This is the side we’re fully expecting to be announced later this afternoon ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off – unless Cooper is out, in which case you can sub Llorente in.
The game is live on Sky Sports.
