Michael Dawson raves about 'bright spark' Crysencio Summerville in Leeds United clash v Chelsea
Crysencio Summerville impressed Michael Dawson for Leeds United on Saturday even though his side fell to a 1-0 loss at Chelsea in the Premier League.
Wes Fofana’s second-half goal was enough to seal all three points for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, alleviate pressure on Graham Potter and heap more relegation worries on Leeds.
Fortunately for the Whites, an Arsenal comeback to win 3-2 over Bournemouth stopped the Yorkshire giants from slipping back into the Premier League relegation zone but that possibility still remains with Everton to play Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Despite the defeat, 21-year-old Summerville did well, according to ex-Tottenham defender Dawson.
“It’s a good response and they’ve just had a great bit of play down the right-hand side,” said Dawson on Sky Sports News (4 March, 4:22pm)
“Summerville’s been the bright spark for Leeds – he really, really has. Aaronson comes off the left, he runs in behind and goes for as one-two.

“Kepa has to be alive, he goes down to his right as the pull-back comes and he just hits it past Summerville, otherwise it would’ve been a tap-in.”
Impressive
It wasn’t the worst of days for Leeds.
Sure, a draw would have been a lot better and a win would have been amazing. And while Chelsea have been poor this season, going there and losing just 1-0 is respectable.
Leeds won’t win Premier League survival by beating teams like Chelsea. It’ll be won against teams like Southampton, who the Whites conquered last week at Elland Road.
Our next games in the Premier League are against Brighton, Wolves, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
You’d say that three of those games are winnable.
And if we do win those three matches, we’ll have over 30 points and with eight matches left, which you’d say would put Leeds in a very good position to stay up.
It’s doable.
We have faith in Javi Gracia.
