Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips could be involved: Early Leeds United team news v Wolves
Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips could be involved for Leeds United when they play Wolves at Molineux on Friday, Jesse Marsch has confirmed.
Speaking to the media on Thursday (17 March), Marsch announced that both of the two senior players are back in training at Thorp Arch and in contention to feature at Molineux.
The Athletic journalist Phil Hay relayed Marsch’s major early team news update on his personal Twitter account just after 10am.
Momentum
Leeds’ win over Norwich was absolutely huge.
You could sense at Elland Road that a massive weight was being lifted off the club as they battle to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
It was a mammoth three points, arguably the biggest win that we’ve had since returning to the Premier League in 2020.
However, the job is not done yet and there are still plenty of games left to play.

By the end of this weekend, Leeds will have played more games than any of the teams below them in the fight to survive in the Premier League.
Everton will have four games in hand on the Whites, Watford will have one, Burnley will also have four and Norwich will also have one.
Lose this game against Wolves and we could be back in the mix.
A draw away at Molineux would not be terrible but momentum is key right now, especially as the international break threatens to scupper that.
Win against Wolves, and we think that would mean we’re in a very strong position to avoid relegation and stay in the Premier League for a third consecutive season.
