Leeds star injured on international duty, many Whites fans react – ‘All we need’, ‘Broken’
Leeds United defender Stuart Dallas earned his 50th cap for Northern Ireland on Thursday evening against Slovakia.
The defender is also on the verge of his 200th appearance for the Whites too, although it didn’t start well at Windsor Park.
One win away from the European Championships, Northern Ireland went one goal behind with less than 20 minutes on the clock, and it didn’t stop there.
Only minutes later, Dallas went down in a heap after a collision in midfield.
It didn’t look great, and the Leeds man couldn’t even bend his arm as it looked like he had broken a bone – something which wouldn’t help.
Just like the warrior we know, Dallas continued, and for 10 minutes, he couldn’t even straighten his arm, although it didn’t stop him from taking throw-ins.
Marcelo Bielsa will be getting frustrated with the international breaks, with Dallas potentially joining the likes of Diego Llorente and Liam Cooper who have had their own injury problems.
Dallas did continue for most of the game and looked to recover, but it could have been adrenaline, and we cross our fingers for a positive update tomorrow.
Many Leeds fans have reacted to the potential fresh blow, and they were not happy with the fact that he stayed on for so long at Windsor Park.
The majority were gutted, as they knew the magnitude of the blow that it could be for Leeds and Bielsa in the Premier League moving forward.
