Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts was a notable omission from the Wales squad on Thursday evening.
The Welsh are playing the United States in a friendly before their Nations League game against the Republic of Ireland.
Ryan Giggs isn’t present for these games, and it will be Cardiff City’s Kieffer Moore leading the line against the Americans instead.

Worryingly, Roberts hasn’t even made the bench.
Even worst, there were 12 spots available, meaning that either he hasn’t impressed or he has picked up an injury through the week.
Thankfully, Roberts took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him training alongside Chris Mepham of Bournemouth earlier today.
On closer inspection though, Mepham is also missing from the side for the clash this evening and that could also be bad news.
Roberts is crying out for more minutes this season.
The 21-year-old lost his spot to Rodrigo last month and hasn’t started a Premier League game since the 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the beginning of October.
The playmaker will have been relishing this chance to go away with Wales and get some starts under his belt, but that could have been made impossible with injury.
Roberts started the last two games against England and Bulgaria for Wales, so he is clearly highly-rated and him missing out could be enforced.
Fingers crossed he is being saved for Nations League games and isn’t injured.
