Leeds United make Daniel James, Patrick Bamford call for clash v Plymouth
Daniel James and Patrick Bamford have been named in the Leeds United squad for the game against Plymouth Argyle, according to Leeds Live.
The online outlet reported the news on its website ahead of the game [2 November], with the pair considered doubtful heading into the weekend.
Elland Road is set to host Wayne Rooney’s team in the Championship on 2 November, with the visitors currently sitting in the relegation zone.
Joe Gelhardt was also subject to a late fitness check but has been included in the squad to face the Pilgrims, but it remains to be seen whether the trio will make the starting lineup for the fixture.
Leeds United have missed Daniel James
Daniel Farke has had to deal with many injury issues over the last few months at the Whites, with Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev picking up knocks.
Injuries have led to Pascal Struijk turning into our first-choice centre-back over the years, with the team missing Max Wober this season, and his return to full training is encouraging [Adam Pope, 31 October].
The Peacocks signed Josuha Guilavogui recently on a free transfer, and the midfielder’s inclusion gives Farke cover in the middle of the park.
In the attack, Leeds have struggled to rely on a prolific number nine, and the likes of Joel Piroe, Brenden Aaronson, Largie Ramazani and Mateo Joseph have all chipped in with goals.

But the Whites have missed James, with the Welsh national proving his importance to the team with his performance in the 0-0 draw against Bristol City on 26 October.
The Elland Road faithful will hope to see everyone back fit for the second half of the season as they embark on their journey back into the top flight.
