Leeds United forward Rodrigo not fit, Tyler Roberts to start again v Chelsea
Leeds United forward Rodrigo isn’t fit enough to start in the Premier League against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon (11th December).
Phil Hay has shared the latest after the Whites insisted they need to manage a heel problem for the Spaniard this week.
That doesn’t suggest he will be fully ruled out at Stamford Bridge, with Tyler Roberts expected to lead the line once again.

Writing in his pre-match Q&A for The Athletic, Hay shared what he interpreted from the earlier statement on the likes of the attacker
“Rodrigo isn’t fit by the sounds of things, or that’s what Leeds’ statement on Thursday suggested,” he wrote.
“I’d expect Roberts to play up front again.”

Can’t catch a break.
In the statement that Leeds released earlier in the week going through their injuries, Rodrigo was a surprise inclusion.
Having said that, he wasn’t exactly ruled out but instead it was mentioned that his time will need to be monitored by the medical team.
Marcelo Bielsa simply doesn’t have that luxury though with the number of injuries in his squad, though, and he needs big names such as Rodrigo to make a difference.
It looks as though the Spaniard will be on the bench once more, as he was against Brentford, but this time, he may have to be used to make an impact.
Roberts notched his first goal of the season in the 2-2 draw last week (5th December) and was openly excited for the big games on the horizon.
