Leeds United defender Cody Drameh looks set for first-team role next season
Leeds United defender Cody Drameh has been putting in sensational performances out on loan at Cardiff City.
Despite moving to the Welsh capital in January, the 20-year-old has been nominated for their Player of the Season.
That certainly tells you that he’s having an instant impact at the Championship club.
On Monday afternoon (April 18), despite ending up on the losing side as Luton Town won 1-0, Drameh had another exceptional game.
His timing of the tackle was immaculate and he was seldom spotted out of position.
Despite being in the early days of his career he’s proving why he’s a complete full-back who’s adept at both attacking as well as defending.

There were eyebrows raised when he was sent out on loan, but the club will be delighted with their decision.
Taking a look at the footage below, Drameh imposes his physicality on the Luton attacker and there have been many instances he’s done this in the Championship.
Luke Ayling, on the other hand, isn’t the best defensively and has lost a significant amount of strength as well.
Rather than signing a new right-back next season, the time may have come to entrust Drameh with a first-team responsibility.
Whether or not Jesse Marsch analyses it the same way as we do, remains to be seen.
Hopefully, he’s kept on next season and is given a chance to prove himself.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
