Tyler Roberts starts in three changes: Leeds United confirm starting XI v Crystal Palace

Marcelo Bielsa has made three changes to the Leeds United starting line-up to play Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

Ahead of kick-off in the Premier League match, Leeds confirmed on their Twitter account that Junior Firpo, Jack Harrison and Rodrigo have all been axed to the bench.

Pascal Struijk, Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts, who’s making just his second Premier League start of the season, have come in to replace the trio.

Must-win match

Leeds have a massive week this week with a clash against Crystal Palace tonight (Tuesday) before a showdown with Brentford, which also takes place at Elland Road, on Sunday.

After those two games, Bielsa’s men have a very difficult run which sees them play Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in back-to-back matches.

While we have faith in Bielsa being able to produce results against two-thirds of the Premier League’s so-called ‘big-six’, we have an expectation that we should be getting points against Palace and Brentford.

After drawing with Brighton on Sunday in what was a very underwhelming performance, the Whites need to bounce back and get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Leeds are still 17th in the Premier League table with clubs below us starting to pick up more points.

Newcastle and Norwich play one another on Tuesday night as well so there’s potential for one – or both – of those to draw in slightly closer.

Palace have done well at times this season so we’ll need to be on top of our game to win this one.

In other Leeds United news, Gary Neville has blasted this Whites man after an official tweet by the club.
