talkSPORT host Jim White has picked Leeds United to beat Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday – and if they do £50 will be donated to a charity of his choice.
White and Simon Jordan were discussing the upcoming games at the weekend and each picked a team for a charity bet.
Jordan picked Everton to beat Fulham at Goodison Park.
White sounded emphatic when he picked Leeds to beat Arsenal at the Emirates.
“I’m going to go for the Sunday game, Arsenal fans I’ll apologise in advance… I’m going to take Leeds United to beat Arsenal at the Emirates,” White said on talkSPORT this morning (11am).
“I’m going to take Leeds to win that one and if they win then £50 goes to a charity of my choice.”
White and Vinnie in agreement
The bookies think that Arsenal are the big favourites to win but we’re not so sure.
We’ve had the measure of them in the last two games and were unlucky to lose 1-0 in the FA Cup last year.
We were even more unlucky not to win the first Premier League meeting this season, after Nicolas Pepe was sent off and Leeds camped in the Arsenal half.
The attack momentum graph from SofaScore above shows just how one-sided the game was at Elland Road and Raphinha hadn’t even bedded in yet.
That was his first start for Leeds and since then he’s made the right-wing position his own.
He’s already delivered more than Pepe has at Arsenal and he cost the Gunners £72m. We think our £17m man is going to come out on top on Sunday, and so do Jim White and Vinnie Jones.
