Patrick Bamford has got plenty of Arsenal fans on the warpath after comments he made on the official Leeds United podcast.
In it, he passed on comments from Gjanni Alioski who was involved in a spat with Nicolas Pépé in the 0-0 game between the two teams at Elland Road earlier this season.
Pépé was sent off for head-butting Alioski and on the podcast Bamford said, “Do you know what? He (Alioski) said in the changing room, ‘I can’t wait for Sunday’. I was like ‘why?’. He said ‘because I’m playing against my mate Pepe again’.”
These comments were posted by an Arsenal fan account with over 160,000 followers and the Gunners fans aren’t happy.

One claimed that Leeds were trying to start a rivalry with Arsenal.
Really? Leeds are ahead of Arsenal in the league and we’ve got bigger fish to fry. Getting into Europe and hauling in Man United is our objective, not trying to start a spat with some of the quietest fans in the Premier League.
You can maybe forgive the Arsenal fans for being so angry.
They don’t know what Alioski is like and that this is just the sort of stuff he comes out with.
If they were at the Emirates on Sunday they might get more of an idea when Alioski gives the tunnel his customary wobble.
It could be worth keeping an eye on him on the pitch as well, as he’s almost guaranteed to start the game on Sunday.
Alidsoki will keep it within the rules of the game. The question is, will the Arsenal players be able to?
These Gunners fans are so angry and some are calling for revenge… They might want to think about charging Alioski rent…
A newly promoted teams is really trying to force a rivalry
