Jeff Stelling reacts to Leeds United footage v Wolves live on Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling could not believe his eyes live on Sky Sports as Patrick Bamford was the Leeds United player to step up for a free-kick against Wolves at Molineux.
The Whites striker blazed the ball to the back of the stand behind the net which was no surprise as Jack Harrison and Brenden Aaronson watched on.
It thankfully made no difference as Leeds managed to run out 4-2 winners in what was a crazy afternoon which saw six goals and red cards as they jumped to 14th at the time.
Speaking live on Sky Sports‘ Soccer Saturday [3:43 pm], Stelling was not best pleased with the footage coming from Molineux Stadium this afternoon.
“It was a terrible free-kick,” he said.

Leeds need Bamford to start firing if they are to stay in the Premier League, and the truth is, he could not look further away from the player who smashed his return to the top flight years ago.
Marcelo Bielsa got the striker at his very best and playing for England, but since then it has been nothing but injuries and disappointment for the number nine.
This free-kick was the clearest sign that Bamford is simply desperate to find the back of the net more often, as he did against Brighton last week, but he must not snatch at things.
Hopefully, the likes of Aaronson and Harrison can take that ball off the striker if we get in those areas again, you cannot afford to waste them in this position.
Javi Gracia is backing Bamford to shine right now, but with the likes of Rodrigo returning and sitting on the bench alongside Georginio Rutter, he will need to do it quickly.
This wasn’t the way to do it.
