Crysencio Summerville missed Watford game due to illness
Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Crysencio Summerville missed the Leeds United v Watford game due to an illness.
While the young Dutchman was unlikely to start, he is usually named on the bench and brings a burst of energy and trickery when the opposition is tired.
However, his omission from the matchday squad raised a few eyebrows, and The Athletic’s Phil Hay tweeted that Bielsa’s reason for his omission was because he was sick.
Need him back
Dan James started this game and put in a woeful performance down the left wing.
He did not look sharp at all and failed to link up in the same way as Raphinha did not on the other side.

Apart from that, he rarely looked like threatening the goal, which would have been a huge worry for Bielsa.
Should he have had the option of bringing Summerville off the bench, we believe that he would have gone for it.
The 19-year-old, who has been labelled “electric” by LeedsLive reporter Joe Donnohue, brings something unique to this side.
Along with being a terrifying prospect to opposition defences, he has an end product and could be moulded into being a regular goal scorer for this Leeds side.
Thankfully, there’s an international break, so when football resumes, Leeds will have Summerville’s services to call upon.
We’re hoping to see more of him in the coming weeks as he’s certainly a terrifying prospect.
