‘Criminally underrated’, ‘Beast’ – Many Leeds fans blown away by ‘Complete player’ at HT v WBA

Leeds United travelled to fellow promoted side West Brom in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.

They were handed the perfect start too when Romaine Sawyers passed the ball into his own net to give the Whites the lead early on.

After that, the game seemed to become more balanced, and the Baggies got into some areas of promise but never threatened the goal until Ezgjan Alioski, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison made it four.

Stuart Dallas continued in his right-back role and was called into action a couple of times in the opening 45 minutes.

After Jack Harrison was beaten too easily twice, drilled balls into the back post were swept away by the Northern Ireland international perfectly.

Leeds dominated the game, and Dallas was consistently the man driving his side forward down the right-hand side, pushing back the dangerous Callum Robinson.

This busy Christmas period is where our fitness will come into play, and no one optimises that better than Dallas – he is certainly going under-the-radar as the attacking players take over.

Many Leeds fans have reacted to the first-half performance of Dallas at the Hawthorns, with some claiming there isn’t more of a complete player in the entire squad.

One fan even went as far as too suggest that the utility man is “criminally underrated” for what he offers in the Premier League.
