Confirmed Leeds United starting XI for Premier League clash v Brentford

Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

Jesse Marsch is without Rodrigo for weeks now after his shoulder injury, and new signing Wilfried Gnonto is also not available to make his debut 24 hours after jetting in – surprisingly Rasmus Kristensen was also out injured.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Whites have welcomed back the likes of Liam Cooper and Luke Ayling to their squad with Joe Gelhardt and Cody Drameh starting.

Back on the Horse.

It is time for Leeds to end this little winless streak and get back to winning ways.

Brentford are always a good test, but the Whites have dominated the last two meetings between the sides and that could be a good sign that it could happen again.

Of course, there are obvious threats with the likes of Ivan Toney to deal with, but that is the same every single week in the Premier League and Marsch will know that.

Having the likes of Cooper, Ayling, and Bamford available strengthens the entire squad dramatically, and the dressing room will be packed with experience.

That is brilliant on and off the pitch, with some real leaders missing the season so far in the Premier League despite our bright start in games.

Right now, it is only a start though and things can go downhill quickly, so it is critical to start some consistency, starting here today at Brentford with all three points.

Fingers crossed.
