Confirmed Leeds starting XI v Crewe

Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for their Carabao Cup clash against Crewe this evening.

Marcelo Bielsa has made a number of changes from his Premier League side, but still names a massively strong side.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off at Elland Road, the Whites have handed a return to Diego Llorente.

There were hints in the under-23s side that lost to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday afternoon, with many playing longer than expected.

The likes of Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt both played 90 minutes, but some were only permitted to play 45 minutes.

Crysencio Summerville and Charlie Cresswell were two to have their minutes limited and they now get their chances in the squad.

No second chances.

We are really due a cup run with this squad under Bielsa.

El Loco has struggled to win games in the domestic competitions and is yet to progress deep in either the FA Cup or the Carabao Cup.

In his eight cups games, he has only won two of them and this is a real opportunity to change that with a convincing display.

Everyone expects a big win, but we also did against Hull City last season in this stage and that ended up in defeat on penalties.

We can’t allow for any kind of complacency to set in, and it is time to get the job done professionally and stress-free with no real hiccups.
