Bielsa confirms Leeds United team news for clash v Manchester United
Diego Llorente has been ruled out of Leeds United versus Manchester United on Saturday, Marcelo Bielsa has today confirmed.
Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Bielsa revealed that Llorente, 27, could be out for another two weeks.
However, there was good news on Junior Firpo, who missed the last two pre-season friendlies.

“Firpo is available and Llorente isn’t,” said Bielsa, as quoted by LeedsLive.
When asked how long Llorente is out for, Bielsa said: “Subject to evolution, but one or two more weeks.”
What a game to start with
Leeds will go into their match against Man United without much fear.
Let’s face it, when has a Bielsa team ever shown any fear towards an opponent?
Last season, we were battered in this fixture with the Whites losing 6-2 to the Red Devils and while that was a humiliation, Bielsa learned more from that game than he did any other.
In the first half of last season, the Yorkshire giants conceded a lot of goals as they pretty much adopted a gung-ho approach to life back in the top-flight.
However, that 6-2 loss at Old Trafford led to Bielsa changing things up a little bit and making his defence more solid. In the two matches after, Leeds kept two clean sheets.
Tottenham and Arsenal were the only teams to score three or more goals against us in the Premier League after that.
Leeds also kept eight clean sheets after it when only four were kept before the huge loss.
Even though they battered us in this fixture last year and Man United have since made some big signings, they still aren’t a team we’ll fear.
If anything, they’re a team we could beat.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have agreed personal terms to make another new signing with a medical now due.
