Andy Hinchcliffe loved what Luis Sinisterra did for Leeds United v Aston Villa
Andy Hinchcliffe absolutely loved one “fabulous” piece of play from Leeds attacker Luis Sinisterra in the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa, before his red card.
Jesse Marsch’s side struggled to create chances over the course of 90 minutes with just one shot on target in the game, although that was partly owing to Sinisterra being sent off five minutes into the second half.
However one moment in the first half had co-commentator Hinchcliffe oozing with praise live on Sky Sports [16:52, 2 October], as he praised his quality in the final third in a chance that ultimately went unrewarded.

“Fabulous piece of play from Sinisterra,” he said. “The ball is actually behind him but he goes past Ashley Young as if he’s not even there.
“A brilliant cross as well. Any touch and it would have been 1-0.”
Quality
Sinisterra has started four games for Leeds now since joining from Feyenoord in the summer, and he has scored in three and then today was sent off.
But before the red card he was arguably the Whites’ most creative spark in attack, with his direct running and mazy dribbling causing Ashley Young plenty of problems.
This moment in particular saw him skip past the former Premier League and Serie A winner with ease and put a tantalising cross into the box across the face of goal, only for Rodrigo to narrowly miss making contact with it at the near post.
It would have been interesting to see if he continued to have that much influence in the second half against Ezri Konsa, who was forced to move out wide after an injury to Ludwig Augustinsson.
But we never found out because of a stupid red card, and now we’ll be without him for our trip to south London to face Crystal Palace next weekend.
