Harry Gray remains one of the big academy hopes at Leeds United.

The young striker was given his official debut in the Championship by Daniel Farke, but has yet to make more than one appearance.

It means he is without Premier League experience, yet, as he looks to forge his own path at Elland Road.

Following Archie Gray, and obviously Eddie Gray, there is a lot of expectation on his shoulders.

Now on loan at Sheffield Wednesday in League One, he's looking to forge his own path in the game.

Similar to Max Dowman, one of the Premier League's brightest currently at Arsenal.

What has Harry Gray done during this break?

Receiving his first call-up for England under-19s, it's been another breakthrough period for Gray.

With the break being extended, the young attacker has managed to make four appearances for the young Lions.

Starting against Belgium and Norway, he also came off the bench against Ireland and the United States.

Gray has celebrated those three wins out of four on his personal Instagram account with a series of images.

After bagging an assist against Norway, he has clearly made a good name for himself in the international system.

Dowman of Arsenal has commented, writing: "What a guy, man," with a red heart also attached.

Another of the Premier League's young talents, Tottenham's Luca Williams-Barnett also commented.

That is the sort of company he's keeping away from Leeds.

Leeds United concerns dismissed after inside information on Harry Gray

Can Harry Gray really make it at Leeds?

At only 17, he's got plenty of years ahead of him.

Gray is now on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, and it's critical that he builds up his experience before making that jump into the Premier League.

An early season injury didn't help, but four appearances in League One so far have produced zero goals.

In 217 minutes, he has helped the Owls to top spot, though, so he's clearly making a difference in a physical league.

The only possible issue is that Leeds grow too quickly, and Gray is somewhat left behind.

With Europe on the mind of many, it's hard to imagine him making the jump from League One to a squad player next season.

It may take another loan and lots of patience, but you can't rush these things or it may never happen.

Gray is on the right track, he just needs to be given time.
