Tuchel told he'll be the 'idiot' he showed himself to be if he doesn't do one thing with Bogle and Justin

Jayden Bogle and James Justin have been top performers for Leeds United so far this season.

The Whites have made an impressive start to the season, going unbeaten through five Premier League games.

Daniel Farke's side have picked up two wins and three draws, to sit fifth in the table with nine points.

Bogle has been excellent at right wing-back, while Justin has predominantly featured on the right of a back three.

There had been suggestions that Bogle particularly might be in contention for a call-up to Thomas Tuchel's England squad.

Indeed, the Three Lions gaffer has been told he would be showing himself to be an "idiot" if he isn't doing one thing with the Leeds duo.

What should Thomas Tuchel be doing with Leeds United ace Jayden Bogle?

Bogle's situation feels particularly frustrating from the point of view that England have a few issues at right wing-back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in the squad at the Real Madrid ace was omitted from the party that went to the World Cup.

But Reece James, Tino Livramento, and Djed Spence are all missing due to injuries and/or fitness concerns.

Bogle still did not get the call-up even after Newcastle right-back Livramento pulled out after initially being selected.

The issue of Bogle and Justin's omissions from the England squad - which does include James Trafford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin - was a topic of discussion on the Square Ball Podcast.

Actor and comedian Dean Smith initially started the conversation by saying Bogle should be in the squad.

Host Dan Moylan replied: "Yeah, definitely. Bunch of chumps in there, plus James Trafford and DCL."

Moylan later returned to the topic, adding: "No space for our beautiful right wing-back, right-sided defensive boys.

"I would love to know genuinely where they are in Tuchel's thinking. Because if he's not considering them at all, he's the idiot we saw in the World Cup semi-final (where England were beaten by Argentina)."

Is Jayden Bogle omission a blessing in disguise for Leeds?

On the one hand, international recognition for your players means that things are generally going well on the pitch.

Moreover, of course you want to see players representing the club living out of their dreams of playing international football.

But Bogle has gone under the radar in terms of how impressive he has been in Leeds' journey from the Championship to Premier League.

If he gets called into the England squad, and performs well for the Three Lions too, could it be that clubs who are sleeping on his talent wake up to how good he is?

Admittedly, it's a pretty selfish standpoint, but it might just be that Tuchel snubbing Bogle is a blessing in disguise.
